Results
The finished design gives My Happy Play Cafe a professional and cohesive promotional piece that can be used across its social media and digital marketing in the lead-up to Halloween.
The final artwork brings all of the important event information together in one place, making it easier for parents to understand what is included, compare the available session times and see what makes the Halloween event special.
The project also created a strong seasonal visual style for the business, helping the event stand out online while remaining recognisable as part of the My Happy Play Cafe brand.

My Happy Play Cafe asked us to create a Halloween promotional design to help advertise their seasonal play sessions and clearly communicate everything families could expect from the event.
The aim was to create something fun, child-friendly and visually engaging, while still making the key information easy for parents to understand. We developed a soft Halloween-inspired colour palette, playful illustrations and a clear layout that brought together the activities, session times, fancy dress message and special late session.
The design highlights Halloween cookie decorating, spooky crafts, Halloween games, soft play, and story time and games with a friendly witch. Each element was created to feel exciting without becoming too dark or overly spooky, keeping the overall design appropriate for younger children and consistent with the welcoming atmosphere of My Happy Play Cafe.
Careful attention was also given to the layout and hierarchy of the information. With several activities and four different session times to communicate, the design needed to remain easy to scan while still feeling creative and engaging.
